The 1980 paper by Pickart and colleagues investigated a plasma tripeptide's association with copper. The researchers reported copper(II) complex formation and enhanced copper uptake in cultured hepatoma cells. This supplies a biochemical and cellular observation; it is not a trial of a finished skin product.
